The British Water Cooler Association Conference is the largest annual UK water cooler conference and trade show, and will take place from 22nd March to the 23rd March 2017 at the Nottingham Belfry Hotel in Nottingham, United Kingdom.

The 2017 theme for the Conference and Trade Show will be ‘NEW HORIZONS: Plan to Win’. The aim is to provide practical guidance and encouragement to companies to help them plan for continuing growth, to plan for greater sustainability and to plan for new, global opportunities following Brexit.

The keynote speaker at the annual event will be former Director of Coaching for British Athletics – Frank Dick OBE.

Other speakers at the conference will be:

  • BWCA Chairman John Dundon will speak about the sector and review the year;
  • Karen Wells from Zenith International will share the latest Market Intelligence and the latest industry data for the water cooler sector exclusively to the conference. The session will be vitally important for companies considering their coming strategic moves.
  • Brendan Hanlon, Head of Fundraising and Communications for Just a Drop – the Association’s chosen charity for which Members are raising funds to help people in Africa to enable people to enjoy safe, clean water in villages where currently there is none. He will be reporting on the successful completion of the project to provide clean, fresh water to Kalungwishi Village in Zambia and on plans for the next BWCA clean water project.

BWCA general manager, Phillipa Atkinson-Clow, said: “The 2016 event was the most successful to date and we are determined to make the 2017 trade show and conference even better. We have an excellent line-up of speakers and, even at this early stage, a large number of exhibition bookings. In what is undoubtedly a challenging yet exciting year for British businesses, the Association is here to provide support, inspiration, training and guidance to help keep our Members at the top of their game. They are the crème de la crème of the sector and our role, as an Association, is to help them become ever stronger.”
