Important Things to Think of When Choosing a Mains Cooler SupplierFloodgates are now open

In an increasingly litigious environment, water and its usage is becoming a critical service supply. Providing cooled chilled water in the office environment through the installation of a water cooler, makes imminently good health sense.

With 79% of the body made up of water the benefits of proper hydration are well chronicled.  It only has to be a matter of time before an employer is dragged before the courts for failing to provide adequate water on site. This is a particular concern for building and construction companies when the water mains can be shut off for lengthy periods.

However, it can also effect third parties. For instance, one of our plumbed in water mains sites at one of our largest customer (over 100 coolers) recently had one of their buildings cut off from the water supply for a three month period while building works were going on.

With over a 100 staff cut off from fresh drinking water, we at living-Water were able to quickly step into the breach and provide a bottled water cooler solution for the temporary three month period to ensure staff remained properly hydrated.

The client was fortunate that as one of the few suppliers of both bottled and plumbed in coolers, we were able to provide a quick and cost effective solution within 24 hours. I guess there’s a reason we have been the preferred supplier to this large client for over 7 years.

Our recommendation to anyone considering how to choose a mains or plumbed in water cooler supplier would be to always choose a supplier who also provides bottled coolers as well.  Not only so they can step into the breach in case of emergency, but mainly because they will have a far greater number of service engineers in your area at any one time and will respond far quicker to any problems or emergency deliveries (eg drinking water cups, water filters, etc) that may occur from time to time.
