Since the very beginning of time, tsunamis have been considered as one of the worst natural disasters in the world. Especially towards humanity and all life that exists on the affected land of a tsunami.

Known as the earthquake underneath the water and an extremely powerful source of Mother Nature stepping in to allow for destruction, tsunamis have caused scores of people to die and many more to be injured.

Some of the worst tsunamis have been generated by a displacement of water in the sea and even in lakes, created by a movement of tectonic plates on and underneath the ocean floor. They have also been caused by volcanic eruptions, meteorite impacts and landslides.
